Was God’s covenant with Moses in the Old Testament a covenant of works, a covenant of grace or a covenant of works and grace. The last view has had a resurgence of late in reformed churches, due in large part to the influence of Meredith Kline. It is also know as the doctrine of the republication of the Covenant of Works in Moses.
To address this position (which we consider to be erroneous), we have created a page of resources arguing for the Biblical and majority puritan view that the Mosaic covenant was the Covenant of Grace and did not include a republishing of the Covenant of Works. The resources on the puritan Francis Roberts are especially to be noted.
