To the covenant of grace and in it men come as sinners and in it God offers remission of sins with the right to eternal life and so therewith He offers deliverance from the penalty of which they rendered themselves worthy by having violated the covenant of works, expressly in order that the threat of the covenant of works may not be put into execution in their cases, which threat rests upon all.
